Celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2976

The Department of Moroccans Residing Abroad took part in a meeting organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, in Brussels, to celebrate the Amazigh New Year, January 2976.
Held under the slogan “January, or Amazighity in Motion,” the meeting brought together institutional and cultural stakeholders, researchers, journalists, and members of the Moroccan community residing in Belgium. It provided an opportunity to further explore the contemporary dynamics of Amazigh culture as a fundamental pillar of national identity.
