Support and Protection for Moroccans Residing Abroad
Supporting Moroccans residing abroad, as well as protecting their rights and interests—both within the national territory and in host countries—holds a central place in the public policy specifically dedicated to them.
This commitment is reflected in the implementation of a coherent set of services and programs designed to meet the needs of the Moroccan diaspora, based on two complementary pillars:
- Targeted support for the most vulnerable groups, including:
- A university scholarship program for MRA students from disadvantaged families.
- Assistance and repatriation services during crises, enabling rapid and effective intervention in emergency contexts.
- Mechanisms to protect the rights and achievements of MRA, by providing operational support in their daily procedures. This includes:
- Personalized assistance in completing administrative procedures.
- Handling and follow-up of complaints, grievances, and requests submitted to public institutions or relevant ministerial departments, in coordination with the concerned bodies.
This comprehensive approach reflects the public authorities’ commitment to ensuring an effective and sustainable framework of protection and support for all Moroccans living abroad, by placing their concerns at the heart of public action.
