Working visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad

The Secretary General of the Department of Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Ismail Lamghari, received, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Department headquarters, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, composed of Mr. Mohammed Maouloud Mohamed Salem, Ambassador Director General of Mauritanians Abroad, and Mr. Abderrahmane Dadah, Ambassador Director of Consular Affairs, as part of the working visit it is making to Morocco.
This meeting was an opportunity to exchange on issues related to nationals of the two countries residing abroad. The Mauritanian delegation was also informed of the main developments in public policy in favor of Moroccans residing abroad, notably in terms of identity reinforcement, social support, competencies mobilization, and support for project holders.
The two parties agreed to continue coordination and consultation to strengthen cooperation and promote actions aimed at citizens of both countries abroad in order to encourage them to contribute to the development of their country of origin.
