On June 2, 2026, the Kingdom of Morocco was honored as the guest of honor at the “Consular Evening” reception in Düsseldorf, held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Moroccan-German relations and attended by around 300 political and economic leaders
During the event, Morocco’s Consul General in Düsseldorf, Ms. Boutaina Bouabid, and the Secretary General of the Department of Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Ismail Lamghari, emphasized the strength of the strategic partnership between Rabat and Berlin. They also praised the Moroccan community in Germany for its important role as a link between the two nations.
Organized with the support of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), the event also highlighted Morocco’s appeal and rich heritage by showcasing recent achievements and featuring artistic performances, including traditional caftan displays and Gnawa music. The gathering reflected a shared commitment to deepening long-term bilateral cooperation, particularly in the diplomatic, economic, and cultural spheres.
