Morocco-Eswatini dialogue: Mobilizing diasporas for the development of home countries

The General  Secretary of the Department of Moroccans Expatriates, Mr. Ismail Lamghari, received the General Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Mr. Nhlanhla Nxumalo, at the Department's headquarters on Tuesday July 22, 2025, as part of his working visit to Morocco.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues concerning citizens of both countries residing abroad. The Eswatin delegation was briefed on public policies in favor of Moroccans living abroad, as well as on the various programs available to them, particularly in terms of identity-building, social support, mobilization of skills and support for project initiators.

The two parties agreed to pursue coordination and consultation to strengthen cooperation and enhance actions aimed at citizens of both countries abroad, in order to encourage them to contribute to the development of their country of origin.
